Our sustainability ambitions
In 2015, the UN formulated the Sustainable Development Framework, which is based on balanced social development, sustainable economic growth and environmental protection. Based on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which form the backbone of the framework, Prime Rate has also set out its sustainability ambitions.
Our company’s strategy is based on three main pillars – ENVIRONMENTALLY CONSCIOUS PRODUCTION, INNOVATION and WE DO IT TOGETHER!
Environmentally conscious production
- We are FSC certified for the use of paper from responsible forest management
- We gradually reduce the number of faulty products
- We selectively collect waste production materials and used packaging materials
- We replaced all the lighting in our company with LED light sources
- We are ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 27001 certified for quality management, environmental management and information security management
- We have installed solar systems at our Budapest and Gödöllő sites
- We have developed heat recovery from our high-performance printing machines, recovering the heat generated
- We have modernised the air control in our production area to save energy
- We have replaced our boilers with modern, energy-efficient models
- We take part in the state-aided hybrid and electric car programme

- Our investments (Motion Cutter laser cutter, Scodix 3D UV varnishing machine, HP inkjet web-fed digital printer) represent the state-of-the-art technology
- Web-to-print business (Nyomdaguru.hu) offers automated editing and ordering for the retail sector.
- Our digital technology allows you to produce small quantities multiple times, preventing waste and stockpiling
