What is 3D UV varnishing?

3D varnishing is a special printing process that makes images on paper tactile, almost come to life.

3D UV varnish can be applied to almost any surface, regardless of whether the surface to be highlighted is digital or offset. It can be used effectively on most paper, cardboard and plastic substrates and, because it does not require a cliché, it is affordable for small runs as well. 3D UV varnish can be applied to very small elements of a print to create a unique texture, or even to larger continuous surfaces.

The 3D UV varnish is completely transparent, with a clarity comparable to glass, so it does not alter or darken the colours of colour prints. It allows you to display your corporate identity colours unchanged, in their original colours, but highlighted with 3D UV varnish on your marketing tools.
